Champ Car team earned four top five showings during the 2001 season

TEAM BIO:
The team will return to the Champ Car World Series again in 2010 after enjoying a solid rebuilding year in 2009. The team welcomes veteran Champ Car driver Jan Heylen, who will drive the team's 2nd car after last year's driver Dan Clarke departed for Minardi. Jan Heylen is a veteran driver of the series and has raced on and off since 2006. Prior to 2009 the Sigma team had an eight year break. The team signed rookie sensation Clark Davidson in 2009 along with veteran champ car driver Dan Clarke to drive last season. Before 2009 the team last raced Champ Cars in Mexico City back in 2001 with driver Max Papis. The team is owned by successful businessman Tom Sigma, Sigma Autosport has raced in Champ Cars, Grand Am and Formula One in it's ten year history.
