CHAMP CAR 2010: In 2010 MP Racing Co-Owner/driver Sheri Plourde returns to the cockpit after enjoying a fantastic 2009 rookie season that saw Sheri earn her very first pole position (Mont-Tremblant Grand Prix) and nearly won that race but ending up finishing 2nd. She also remained competitive all year long earning a solid 4th in the final standings in 09. Watch for this young rising star to continue to improve in 2010.

CHAMP CAR 2008-2009
Sheri made history on a number of levels in the 2008 Champ Car World Series becoming the first female owner/driver to complete her first four Champ Car races all with top ten results. She finished 10th in her first race at Road America after starting 16th, She followed that up with a career best 4th in Holland and finished off the season strong with a 6th in Australia and 8th in the season finale Grand Prix of Mexico City. Her fast and stunning start to her Champ Car career has earned her a full time ride in Champ Car with MP Racing for 2009. In 2009 Sheri came real close to her first ever Champ Car World Series victory at Mont-Tremblant and scored several top five finishes to earn a top five spot in the final series standings. She is the first and only female Champ Car driver to finish on the podium in any event and finish the season as one of the top five competitors. Sheri switches car numbers for 2010 and will drive the #11 Tide Champ Car DP01 machine.

PERSONAL
Sheri enjoys racing and being involved in motorsports. She also is currently working on a career in Fashion Design with her Bachelors in Fashion Design Technology. She is a success on and off the race track. Her incredible performance and knowledge of the business world along with her vast range of skills in fashion help make Sheri a well rounded and successful business women. Sheri is also involved in the day to day operations of MP Racing and monitors the team's progress.
